Undergraduates in Chemistry are strongly encouraged to participate in one or more internships . Som of our most attended sites inclued:

- James Madison University (Harrisonburg, VA)
- Tufts University (Boston, MA)
- Sunesis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (South, San Francisco, CA)
- Enviornmental Protection Agency (EPA)
- Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
- National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Majors and minors can work part-time or few hours a week (if opened position) within the department assisting the professor or instructor that is teaching a specific course. Gain experience working in the lab and for Resume purposes as well.
